Audry Barnes is from the northeast corner of Kansas where she spent her forming years on her families small midwestern farm. Through exaggerated human-like figures, pieces, images and items that reference reality through a fogged and shifting sense of deception, her work navigates the value of an objects conception. In spring of this year, she will complete her BFA in ceramics, an undeclared painting focus and a minor in art history from The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. She plans to further her academics in the upcoming years through post bachelor opportunities.
